A global leader in the design and manufacture of hydraulic components, supporting sectors such as Transport, Agriculture, Mining, Industrial, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Mobile Applications. They offer hydraulic products, system design, and exceptional technical support to Australian customers.

This company manufactures its own Hydraulic equipment which is sold worldwide and is considered very high-end and reliable. In Australia they offer Solutions, servicing and equipment to many industries such as such as Transport, Agriculture, Mining, Industrial, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Mobile Applications.

We are seeking a driven and technically-minded Sales Representative to manage and grow key accounts across Queensland and Northern NSW. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a solid understanding of hydraulics and a passion for delivering customer-focused solutions.

You'll play a critical role in developing long-term relationships with clients across the Mobile, Agriculture, and Mining sectors while supporting continued growth in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

• Manage a portfolio of key clients across QLD and Northern NSW
• Act as the main point of contact, providing timely support and technical advice
• Build strong, trust-based relationships that drive repeat business

Business Development & Sales Growth

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Execute sales strategies in alignment with OMFB's national growth objectives
• Deliver tailored solutions that align with customer needs

Technical Sales Support

• Provide hydraulic product knowledge and guidance to customers
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to solve complex technical queries

Market & Industry Engagement

• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
• Represent the company at trade events and industry forums
• Engage with local distributors and channel partners to expand market reach

Reporting & CRM

• Maintain accurate records in our Prospect CRM system.
• Analyse sales data to track performance and inform decision-making

We're looking for a technical sales representative who is:

• Technically proficient in hydraulics or mechanical components
• Experienced in account management or business development
• Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role
• Skilled in relationship building, communication, and negotiation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• The Mining, Agriculture or Mobile sectors knowledge
• Selling technical or engineered products skills
