Based in Boronia, this company operates a state-of-the-art machining and fabrication facility known for its quality, innovation, and technical excellence.

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager / Mechanical Engineer to lead quality assurance activities and maintain the highest manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and inspection processes
• Oversee in-process and final inspections of precision machined and fabricated components
• Lead and train staff in quality procedures and standards
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain all quality records, reports, and documentation for part and batch release
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering qualifications (degree or diploma)
• Proven experience in precision manufacturing or CNC machining environments
• Proficiency with CMMs, micrometers, verniers, and other measuring tools
• Strong understanding of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
